We are pleased to announce the release of 6 new Flowset workflow templates and a complete redesign of the Change Management workflow template. For details of where to find these templates and how to use them see Workflow Templates.
In addition, each template is also fully documented here to aid in how the designs are achieved.
Summary of Release
New workflow templates have been added to Flowset which cover Employee Onboarding and Delivery Handling. There are three different versions of each of these templates ranging from a simple implementation to a full complex implementation. You can choose which best suits your needs.
The Change Management template has been redesigned to implement a rich process to manage change requests.
Change Management
Effectively managing change requests is crucial to minimizing disruptions, ensuring quality and consistency, and mitigating risks. It ensures that changes are implemented in line with requirements, preventing scope creep and budget overruns, while also aligning with the organization's strategic objectives.
This template implements a change management process including
- Change request definition and details capture
- Various levels of reviews
- Change Implementation and rework (where necessary)
- Ability to bypass formal Change Management when appropriate
- Ability to reject Change Requests
Employee Onboarding
Three variations of an employee onboarding process have been added to the template library in Flowset. The templates can be used to created a workflow which can be used to assist in onboarding new employees. Once created, the template workflow can be adapted to suit your exact needs. The three variations are
Basic - A simple onboarding process with task checklists many of which are optional
Richer - A more complex process including communication with the new employee prior to joining. Critical and non critical systems handled separately. Many checklists are mandatory or specifically bypassed with a reason for bypassing. Parts of the process are tailored to whether the new employee will be based on or off site. Includes scheduling of monthly review meetings after the employee joins.
Full - The full onboarding template builds on the richer one but includes the ability to abort the onboarding process if the new employee changes their mind or if the HR checks fail for any reason. The post joining review process is extended to include the capture of outputs from the monthly reviews and a final pass or fail of the 3 month probationary period.
Delivery Handling
An efficient "Delivery Handling" process is important for addressing problems customer may experience when placing and receiving orders for goods. Keeping customers informed about their delivery, and offering refunds where appropriate, promotes a high degree of customer satisfaction. There are three variations of this template as follows
Basic - A simple delivery handling process offering refunds to customers who have suffered a genuine unsatisfactory experience or rejecting with insufficient evidence.
Offers guidance but no managed support for updating an external order processing system
Intermediate - A richer process that offers an escalation path if problems are encountered interacting with the external order processing system.
It also includes a richer dedicated common activity for analysing photographic evidence.
For valid complaints it offers a choice of refund options for both credit and debit cards.
Advanced - A sophisticated process that builds on the intermediate version but includes a significantly richer escalation activity whose task flow handles probable exception paths.
It adopts fully managed customer conversations that automatically control Open<>Pending ticket lifecycle states.
